My to do list for November.
Because September and October were so busy all-round for me (lots of plans and events besides drawing), I ‘ve hardly had the time to really appreciate this time of year’s cosiness & its call to actually stay in more. November, however, might finally remedy that, as these are the things that are at the top of my to do list.
October wardrobe favourites.
People who have been following my blogposts are probably tired of hearing this, but I love a good Autumn and Winter wardrobe so much more than I will ever love other seasonal looks. It’s a whole other vibe, with prettier colours (or lack thereof, haha) and all-round cosier and comfier fits. Most importantly: I feel good in these outfits, and with cuffing season-related mood swings and self-confidence lows (bear with), that can mean a whole lot to me. This post, however, is not meant to be a downer discussing all those cliché topics, but rather a celebration of my favourite October outfits so far, and my go-tos when it comes to completing the looks. Here goes!
A watchlist of spooky go-tos.
All of the easy-to-watch films and series I put on almost annually, during the spookiest month of the year.
My favourite ways to unwind in Autumn.
With my Autumn collection now sitting comfortably in my webshop, a busy -and especially- quite early couple of days topped off with me having to be an assessor at elections I KNEW would depress me in the end, AND those Christmas commissions right around the corner, I often find myself tired, uninspired and overstimulated, both in the mornings and when I come home from my day-job. A tell-tale sign that I have to take a breather, and fill up at least some of the hours in my day with total relaxation. These are my favourite ways to do just that.
Six things that have been making me happy lately.
Because it’s high time for a good catch-up after my two-week holiday!
Ten things I want to do in September.
A post about all the stuff I want to get done this month. Boy, is it going to be a busy one!
The big September reset.
I don’t know about you guys, but I’ve always felt a surge of brand new energy the minute September turns up. Perhaps it’s a leftover from our good old school-going days, or simply the fact that after a busy, social, and frankly over-booked Summer, there’s so much you can reflect on, or learn from, to help you steer your life into a new, and/or slightly better direction before yet another year passes. That, and - of course - my beloved Autumn being just around the corner, has already given me so many ideas about how I’m going to fill up the rest of my year. Here are my favourite ways to kick off those new beginnings!
Why I switched to English.
Nope. My previous post wasn’t just a one-off: I am making a language switch on this blog, and will be writing all my future posts in my best English. Some of you know that I actually started out like this waaaaaay back when, but since it might’ve come as a little shock to my newest readers, I thought I owed you all at least a little bit of an explanation.
Enjoying the little things.
Full disclosure? I’m not a big fan of August, and haven’t been for the last couple of years. From the hottest, most uncomfortable days of the year and the constant intake of other people’s perfect (and often longer, don’t mind my jealous ass) holidays and outings while you’re at work, to the general sense that Summer - with its busy schedule and a vibe I can best describe as, uhh… ‘loud’, haha - just drags on for way too long. Needless to say that, when you’re like me (aka not a Summer enthusiast), and your days are filled with an enormous amount of negative triggers, it gets pretty difficult to stay positive. Enter those little things that never fail to bring me just that tiny bit of joy and happiness these days.
Happy Lughnasadh.

Een bliksemsnelle newsflash rechtstreeks van achter mijn hella messy bureau, just for you!
Een prikbord vol kleine reminders.
Also known as een ‘vision board’, maar eerlijk? Dat klinkt me zo serieus, zo bindend, zo… overdreven? All I wanted was een klein, afleidend DIY projectje dat me wat geheugensteuntjes zou geven over wat ik momenteel belangrijk vind, welke gemoedstoestand ik ‘t liefst van al permanent zou hebben én - vooral - wat ik de laatste paar weken even uit het oog verloren was. Een how to en hoe dat prikbord van mij er nu uitziet; hieronder!
