daily magic.
Getting out of a period full of commissions, where it’s easy to figure out priorities and work schedules, straight into one without any deadlines, expectations or existing structure at all, is proving to be as challenging as I predicted. Thank heavens I had this little emergency list of to do’s (and don’ts) to fall back on. Here’s how I’m getting out of the post-commissions slump!
Just a little bucket list of all the ways I want to celebrate and enjoy the coming of Spring this year.
New month, new bullet journal spread, and you know what that means… A couple of words about how I’m filling up mine, but more importantly: a new freebie for you to download, right under here!
You guys… Moet even bijgesteld worden. Read on!
Hi there! En long time no see/hear, zeg.
Ready? Let’s go!
Maar here we are.
Let’s go!
September is here, and with it comes the sudden urge to start afresh and make the most of what’s left of this year. You’ll find out what that means for me - and my business - in this post!
One whole week of these new housemates, so it’s high time I introduce them, don’t you think?
I am currently taking two weeks off from work at my day job, and I have to be honest: the countdown was real. Not that I’m not going to miss pouring those coffees and bantering with my colleague bestie, but because there was just SO much I wanted to do with the extra time that well-deserved holiday would provide me with. Here’s a top 6!
All the favourites I’ve been watching (mostly while drawing super secret stuff and new personal work), and what’s next on the list.
This month’s Patreon printable? A fun little bucket list full of things I would love to do in March. Below? A complimentary post about what’s on it. Perhaps it can inspire you - along with my Patrons - to make your very own!
Because it’s been awhile since you’ve heard from me on here, let’s do a quick catch-up about what’s been going on in my life and how I’m picking it up again.
A letter to everyone that has followed this creative journey from the beginning, joined along the way, and - especially - recently stumbled upon my work.
Looking back at the previous years, you’d expect this new one to bring along one of those traditional resolutions or manifestions posts of mine, no? Well, that WAS the plan, but while I was reflecting on the past year and what I could list up for the next one, a couple of things struck me.
As promised: the playlist that’s been on repeat here ever since the countdown to Christmas began (right after Halloween, was it?), and some quick but heartfelt Holiday wishes.
“No better thing to distract you from everything that stresses you out these days (or the terrible cold you currently have 🙋🏻♀️), than summing up some of the good,” is the advice I so often give friends who have a tough time in winter. Here’s me, following my own advice for once, and making a list of all my favourite things about this time of year. Here goes!
Oh, hi! It’s been awhile, hasn’t it? Let’s catch up right under here and then carry on like life tends to do, shall we? We shall.
Because September and October were so busy all-round for me (lots of plans and events besides drawing), I ‘ve hardly had the time to really appreciate this time of year’s cosiness & its call to actually stay in more. November, however, might finally remedy that, as these are the things that are at the top of my to do list.
People who have been following my blogposts are probably tired of hearing this, but I love a good Autumn and Winter wardrobe so much more than I will ever love other seasonal looks. It’s a whole other vibe, with prettier colours (or lack thereof, haha) and all-round cosier and comfier fits. Most importantly: I feel good in these outfits, and with cuffing season-related mood swings and self-confidence lows (bear with), that can mean a whole lot to me. This post, however, is not meant to be a downer discussing all those cliché topics, but rather a celebration of my favourite October outfits so far, and my go-tos when it comes to completing the looks. Here goes!
With my Autumn collection now sitting comfortably in my webshop, a busy -and especially- quite early couple of days topped off with me having to be an assessor at elections I KNEW would depress me in the end, AND those Christmas commissions right around the corner, I often find myself tired, uninspired and overstimulated, both in the mornings and when I come home from my day-job. A tell-tale sign that I have to take a breather, and fill up at least some of the hours in my day with total relaxation. These are my favourite ways to do just that.

Let’s catch up (as promised, hihi) aan de hand van vijf gelukskes, en één iets mindere, although broodnodige, revelatie uit de ondertussen al even gepasseerde maand juli.
Here goes!
